Sir Peter Blake was New Zealand's most celebrated yachtsman who led his team and New Zealand to victory in both the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race and the America's Cup. He was also a passionate and relentless champion for the environment, having spent his life on the ocean. Greg has had the honor of working with the Sir Peter Blake trust since it’s inception as the designer of awardees lapel pins. Over the years Greg has taken great delight in seeing remarkable New Zealand leaders wearing his distinctive designs. Now known simply as BLAKE, Greg was commissioned to design the new trophies and awardee lapels.
Blake Trophy
Greg has had a long standing relationship with the Sir Peter Blake trust since its inception. Now known simply as BLAKE, Greg was commissioned to design the trophy and lapel pins for the annual Blake leadership award recipients.
Sir Peter Blake Medal
The annual BLAKE Awards recognise and celebrate people whose leadership has delivered high impact results and contributed to a more sustainable future for Aotearoa socially, culturally, environmentally or economically.
The prestigious BLAKE Medal is awarded to one extraordinary person annually.
